About the Role:
- The Residential Property team, part of the Private Client Group, is renowned for handling high-value residential sales and purchases, lease extensions, new build developments, and work for agricultural/landed estates.
- Clients include HNW individuals, offshore companies, lending institutions, investors, and landed estates.
- The Senior Knowledge Paralegal will drive the team's knowledge management, provide support for non-fee-earning legal matters, and contribute to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Know-How:
- Foster knowledge sharing within the team and the firm.
- Stay updated on legal, financial, and market developments relevant to Residential Property.
- Liaise with knowledge lawyers and the wider firm community to ensure best practices.
Standard Forms and Precedents:
- Maintain and develop precedents, standard form documents, and guidance notes.
- Collaborate with other knowledge lawyers in related teams.
- Keep documents and guidance notes up to date.
Resources, Tools, and Systems:
- Ensure fee earners are familiar with knowledge management systems.
- Implement additional tools or platforms if necessary.
- Maintain access to legal information resources.
- Update and expand property department's knowledge material.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in Residential Property law.
- Strong knowledge management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
