A leading City firm with one of the best real estate teams in the City, our client is looking for a junior to mid-level Commercial Property Associate, either newly qualiifed (with an offer from their training firm) or with some post-qualified commercial property experience from another highly ranked City or major regional (UK) real estate practice.
Unlike some City real estate teams, the real estate lawyers in this team are not siloed into sub-teams but are trained in the full range of commercial property work and retain a broad real estate practice. The role will therefore involve working on a varied range of real estate work, including acquisitions and disposals; commercial leasing, development, real estate JVs and funds, forward sale and funding transactions, real estate finance and corporate real estate.
All junior Associates are encouraged to have plenty of client contact and to take ownership of matters, and are fully supported in doing so. Additionally, there is an excellent training programme, meaning that new joiners get up to speed quickly, and work allocation is carefully managed to ensure a broad diet of commercial property work and the opportunity to work with all the partners across the team.
