Corporate Finance Paralegal

A fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Finance Paralegal to join a top US law firm in London on a permanent basis.
 
The Team:
The team handles extremely high transactions, both domestically and internationally, and their clients include well-known corporations as well as leading private equity groups. There is a requirement for someone to assist with and manage the process of corporate transactions and projects. The team collaborates yet maintains a high level of independence.
 
The Role:
The successful Corporate Finance Paralegal will have good academics and prior transactional and experience which should be demonstrated on your application. Duties include:
  • Providing transactional support on corporate projects, managing electronic data rooms/sites, uploading, and ordering documentation.
  • Due diligence and document review.
  • Drafting of contracts and agreements.
  • Signing and closing arrangements for financing transactions.
  • Reviewing and negotiating reliance letters.
  • Preparing bundles and bibles.
  • Set up and management of data rooms.
  • Attending underwriting calls.
  • Legal Research.
About You:
Maybe you're a future trainee searching for paralegal experience before starting your training contract, or maybe you're a paralegal wishing to broaden your expertise and get fresh experience. In any case, your application should show:
 
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable.
  • A driven Paralegal with at least 6 months’ prior Corporate Finance experience.
  • Exposure to Private Equity deals would be beneficial.
  • Paralegals with any transactional or funds experience are encouraged to also apply.
  • Strong academics.
  • The ability to pick up tasks and work autonomously.
 
Salary:
The successful Corporate Finance Paralegal will be offered a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
