Data Privacy/Cybersecurity Associate, 2-3 years PQE

Our client is one of the leading global law firms with a presence in the world's major financial and commercial markets.
 
The firm has one of the largest and most experienced Privacy and Cybersecurity practices in the world, spanning Europe, the United States and Asia. They are widely regarded as market leaders by all professional directories. They assist clients with all of their compliance and risk management challenges, drafting policies and providing advice on legal issues, risk management strategies, and strategic governance. With their global reach, they are able to provide a 24-hour global privacy hotline to respond to data emergencies. They play an important role in the development of public policy regarding the future regulation of privacy. With its depth of knowledge and global presence, this firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity team is uniquely placed to offer the opportunity to develop a career in a fast-moving and highly technical area of law.
 
They are looking for a 2-3 years post qualification specialist data protection lawyer to join their team.  Experience of this area gained within a top tier firm is preferred. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills in the area of data protection law, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team.
