A prestigious US law firm is looking for a permanent Private Equity Paralegal to join their Private Equity group in London on a permanent basis.
The Firm:
On a national and international scale, they offer prestigious private equity client’s critical transactional guidance on sizeable investments, financings, management incentive plans, portfolio companies, and strategics, generating market-leading global revenues.
Your New Role:
Your duties will include:
- Offering legal assistance to the Private Equity department.
- Writing support materials including board meeting minutes, director resignation letters, sock transfer forms, and businesses house forms.
- Assist in the creation of all documents, such as share capital tables, group structure charts, and documentation for share plans for various shareholders.
- Draft and file Companies House forms and conduct Companies House searches.
- Writing weekly charge updates while consulting with the billing team.
- Coordinating with specialised attorneys.
About You:
Your application should demonstrate:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable.
- At least 6 months Private Equity or Corporate Paralegal experience essential (either from an in-house or private practice role).
- Have experience in the responsibilities stated above and these are clearly represented in your application.
- Paralegals with recent Private Equity or Corporate/Transactional Vacation Schemes are also encouraged to apply.
