The team:
The highly regarded Real Estate Finance team handles a range of complex cross-border transactions including residential, office and hotel developments, often through senior, mezzanine and bridge financing structures. The team works in collaboration with other specialist teams in Real Estate, such as Real Estate Investment, Investment Funds and Planning as well as Corporate, Tax and Construction. They have a strong reputation of promoting Paralegals to Trainees.
The role:
The successful Paralegal can look forward to:
- Drafting and reviewing documents and forms
- Assisting with registrations of security at Companies House registry and the Land Registry
- Liaising with clients and third parties
- Assisting with post-completion tasks
- Managing data rooms
- Assisting with production of property due diligence
- Opening and closing files and conducting conflict searches
- Dealing with Land Registration, SDLT and Deeds Scheduling
About you:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable
- Prior experience working in a Banking or Real Estate Finance team
- Applications are also encouraged from candidates who have experience in Corporate or Real Estate
- Effective written and oral communication
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise assignments
