Private Practice

We act for the full spectrum of law firms in London from the leading US law firms, magic circle, silver circle, medium-sized and small City practices, all the major national firms, through to West End firms and niche specialist practices. We have been recruiting at both partner and assistant solicitor level for these firms continuously since 1992. What sets us apart from our competitors is the strength and longevity of our relationships with not only the HR departments but with the managing partners and the heads of department in these firms, many of whom joined their firms through us. When we make an introduction to a firm you can be sure we are in touch with a decision-maker, who will base their decision on whether or not they want to meet you as much on our recommendation and what we tell them about you as on the content of the CV we prepare on your behalf.

In House

EJ Legal's In-House team was set up to service the growing needs of legal departments within the Financial Services and Commerce and Industry sectors.  Our In-House team is committed to building long-term relationships, to ensure that we help clients and candidates achieve their objectives.  At the heart of our approach lie two simple but essential ingredients - focus and effort.

We acquire a complete understanding of our clients' businesses and working environments, and we go to great lengths to ascertain the criteria for a particular position.  Our relationships are with the decision makers across a wide spectrum of business sectors - we are in hourly contact with General Counsel and Heads of Departments.   Our approach is honest and direct and our clients know that our absolute priority is to find them the right candidate for their role. To us matching exactly our candidate's technical knowledge, personality and ambitions to our client's needs is the fundamental skill required in a recruitment consultant.
