I’m working with an insurance client who is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join it team in London. You will be joining a small team reporting to the Company Secretary and benefit from the support of a Co Sec assistant.
Your role will include:-
Responsibility for the collation and distribution of Board and Committee meeting papers and for other meetings as required;
Assisting with the establishment of new legal entities;
Responsibility for preparing a list of Board training topics (annually or more frequently if required) and for arranging quarterly Board training;
Responsibility for preparing regulatory filings for the Approved Persons and Key Function Holders under SMCR and for collating supporting documentation;
Working with other departments as required and building relationships at all levels across the company
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience within a company secretarial position and you should have begun your company secretarial qualifications, but do not need to be a qualified ACIS. Experience within the insurance industry would be preferred but not essential however experience within the financial services industry is essential.
