This role would suit an ECM specialist or an associate with broad corporate experience including some ECM experience looking to specialise and build their experience. Candidates looking to retain a balanced corporate practice will also be considered and the ability to take on a broader range of work, potentially including M&A or listed funds work, would be regarded as a positive.
This role would suit an English-qualified solicitor or a foreign-qualified lawyer with practical experience of UK ECM transactions. Relevant in-house experience would also be considered valuable.
this role will entail a range of cross-border transactions, including public company takeovers, private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital reconstructions and demergers.
Candidate attributes:
- Qualified / admitted legal practitioner in relevant jurisdiction.
- 2-4 years' PQE in corporate M&A, however we are open to considering candidates with more or less experience.
- Solid legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and project management skills; good people management and business development skills.
