You are a European Patent Attorney with a background in Life Sciences, looking to make a career-defining move to an established practice group with a stellar reputation for client attraction and retention.

You should possess significant experience of handling EP opposition proceedings, supporting national and/or UPC litigation. This unique position requires the successful Patent Attorney to possess a strong biotechnology and pharmaceutical background, from either a private practice or in-house team environment.  Ostensibly, you enjoy the rigours of direct client management, utilising both your scientific and legal judgement to advise clients from a wide variety of sectors.

This firm’s life sciences team is proud of the rich blend of specialisms and experience within, from Trainees to Associates and the wider Partner team. Their client base has grown considerably in recent years, including a significant increase in litigation support for international work.

You will cover a broad range of technologies within the life sciences sector, further strengthening your skill-set with contentious work before the EPO, supporting clients with FTO strategy and developing patent portfolios. Exposure to litigation work is uniquely positioned for Attorneys wishing to gain experience to complement their Attorney expertise.

European Patent Attorneys with up to 3 years PQE are encouraged to apply, but consideration may also be given to Attorneys with more experience.

Please contact James Dawes (jamesd@ejgroup.co.uk) at EJ Legal Ltd for a confidential discussion.
