The team:
The team are top ranked by all the legal directories, they provide top-notch advice to their clients, both private and commercial. This Family Paralegal role sits in the Dispute Resolution team within the Family department. The team advise on all aspects of family and matrimonial law including divorce, children’s issues, pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation claims and cross border disputes.
The role:
The successful Family Paralegal will play a key role in the progression of cases, which will involve lots of liaising with clients and fee earnings, attending client meetings, and tracking hard deadlines throughout the case to ensure adherance. You will also responsibility for a small workload of your own! Other responsibilities will include:
- Drafting letters and court forms
- Conducting legal research
- Document review
- Instructing third parties
- Working with the firm’s risk and compliance team on new client verification
About you:
The ideal Family Paralegal will:
- Posses strong academics (2:1 and above)
- Have prior relevant Family experience (though those with more general Dispute Resolution experience are also encouraged to apply!)
- Enjoy a busy working environment and be able to prioritse work as required
- Be a confident communicator who likes building relationships with clients and other teams internally
