I am recruiting for the fintech arm of a global financial services organisation that is looking to add its first permanent hire to its team in London. You will be involved in the creation of new fintech businesses for the company (primarily in the payments space) and work as part of a team of 3 other lawyers covering this space. You will be part of the Ventures business sitting on the same floor as that entire part of the wider business making this a very commercial and business facing role.
The client is looking for someone with 1-5 years’ PQE who ideally has Merchant Acquiring and Payments experience. The client will also consider broader Products experience gained within the fintech sector. You should be prepared to be very hands on and enjoy the less formal and faster moving fintech culture where you will be asked to advise on a range of issues as well as ad hoc maters.
