Our client is a US Law Firm seeking an associate with 2-4 years’ PQE specialising in intellectual property, technology and commercial transactions, and with experience of data protection matters.

This is an international role reporting into Partners in different jurisdictions with potential opportunity to travel. You will work on some of the most novel, cutting-edge and complex multinational transactions in the market including corporate and commercial transactions across a diverse range of sectors and industries, spanning pharmaceuticals, advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, financial institution technology infrastructure in the context of significant M&A transactions, software development and licensing, high-end luxury goods and hospitality, consumer products, music licensing and fashion.

The ideal candidate will be UK trained and qualified, have outstanding academics and a willingness to take on a leadership role. You will have at least two years’ post-qualification experience working in a transactional IP/IT practice group at a leading firm (magic circle, silver circle, US firms or other specialist boutiques) and experience of IP and technology work, with commercial contracts experience (particularly in the technology and life sciences sectors) and data protection (GDPR/UK DPA).
