A leading US law firm are seeking a Private Equity Paralegal to join their Private Equity group on a permanent basis in London.
The Firm:
With industry-leading global revenues, they offer prestigious private equity sponsors essential transactional guidance on major investments, financings, management incentive plans, portfolio companies, and strategics on both a national and international level.
Your New Role:
- Providing legal supporting within the Private Equity department.
- Drafting ancillary documents e.g., board minutes, director resignation letters, sock transfer forms and companies house forms.
- Assist in the preparation of all documents e.g., share capital tables, group structure charts, share plan documents for multiple shareholders.
- Contacting clients via calls and emails.
- Consulting with the billing team, drafting weekly charge updates.
- Liaising with specialist counsel.
- Gaining ownership of specified companies.
About You:
Your application should demonstrate:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable.
- At least 6 months Private Equity or Corporate Paralegal experience essential (either from an in-house or private practice role).
- Paralegals with recent Private Equity or Corporate/Transactional Vacation Schemes are also encouraged to apply.
- Have experience in the above responsibilities and these are clearly stated on your application.
Salary:
The successful Private Equity Paralegal will be offered up to £40,000 depending on experience.
