You are a Qualified UK and European Patent Attorney (CPA/EPA) looking to move to a boutique private practice environment.
Your technical background should encompass Biotechnology and/or Chemistry and Pharmaceutical related subject matter, from core drafting and prosecution through to contentious areas of IP work.
This pioneering and established IP practice has been attracting like-minded clients for over 20 years with a service offering that places the client at the very centre of their business model. They pride themselves on nurturing and maintaining key alliances with clients ranging from advising UK SMEs and University spin-offs, to international filing programmes with multinational corporations.
Applications are especially encouraged from Patent Attorneys looking for a senior role, where they can leverage an existing client following, or be confident in attracting work from previous client relationships. There will be existing work in situ, but the onus on this specific appointment is to attract a high-calibre Attorney who relishes first-hand client interaction and portfolio development.
You should possess commercial acumen and a growth-mindset to add value to a firm from the outset, and be motivated to further expand the reach of your client practice.
The firm operates a friendly and collaborative environment, where employees are actively encouraged to support one another across the full spectrum of clients. There are no isolated silos, as hybrid working is fully supported in a mature and effective manner, so employees can manage their external commitments as well as their professional ones. They also pride themselves on a high retention level of employees.
If you’re looking for a fresh challenge and are specifically looking to move your client practice to a new firm, then get in touch for a confidential conversation.
