Our client is a well-established US law firm, who is looking for a Private Equity Lawyer to add their growing team in London.
The Role of a Private Equity Lawyer
The successful individual will be working alongside 6 Partners, 1 Counsel, 7 Associates and 2 trainees on a full range of private equity matters, from initial fund formation and compliance, to minority and control investments, to leveraged buyouts. The group’s client base includes well-established industry funds, as well as dynamic up-and-coming private equity teams.
As a firm, they place a big emphasis on training and development, providing BD training from NQ upwards. They are also committed to pro bono work and genuinely have a social conscience as opposed to purely being fixated on profit.
To be considered for the Private Equity Lawyer role you must:
be a qualified solicitor under England & Wales, Ireland or Scotland.
at least 2-3 years private M&A/private equity experience within a commercial environment
have excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
detailed analytical skills
the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
