The team:
The award-winning Residential Property Conveyancing team deals with all aspects including purchase and sale of homes, shared ownership schemes, remortgaging, lease extensions and transfers of equity. The current Solicitor started working at the firm as a Paralegal, before going on to train and qualify with the firm, so there is scope for career progression.
The role:
The successful Residential Property/Conveyancing Paralegal can look forward to assisting a Senior Licensed Conveyancer and a Solicitor in the running of live files. Duties will include:
- Supporting fee earners in all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, from instructions through to post completion
- Liaising with all parties throughout the conveyancing process
- Dealing with administrative exchange formalities completion and post completion tasks
- Drafting financial statements and invoices
- Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
- File opening
- AML compliance
About you:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable
- Previous Property experience essential, preferably in Residential Property/Conveyancing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to timescales
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
