General Banking & Finance NQ-1 CITY

Our client, a highly regarded international firm, has a rare opening for a junior banking and finance lawyer, newly qualified or with up to 1PQE, to join its London generalist banking and finance practice, to do a genuinely varied mix of banking and finance work, more so than is available at most other larger City banking and finance practices, advising a diverse client base of both lenders and borrowers, ranging from leading financial institutions and alternative lenders to businesses and entrepreneurs, investors, non profit organisations and high net worth individuals. The spread of transactional work a junior banking and finance associate can expect to be exposed to within their first year includes general banking; acquisition finance; private banking; and other areas such as art finance; trade finance; real estate and development finance; asset finance; project finance; structured finance; fund and venture finance.

You will have a strong academic background and experience gained from another highly respected banking and finance practice as well as the desire to take on a broader range of banking and finance work for a more varied client base. The firm operates an agile and more balanced working environment - it does not have a long hours culture.
