A market-leading Commercial practice is looking for up to two junior-mid level associates to join its prestigious and acclaimed London group.

This role sits within the firm’s globally lauded Commercial department and will focus on Technology Transactions – that is, commercial contracts with ‘tech at the heart’. This will include advising on: commercial tech projects, outsourcing business processes, IT system implementation transactions, IT software procurement, cloud computing development work, telecoms infrastructure contracts etc.

A key sell of this role is that it isn’t a constant churn of run-of-the-mill commercial contracts for tech clients, but rather, innovative commercial contracts where the transaction is centred around the implementation of cutting-edge tech – i.e. business models disrupted by tech developments such as AI, blockchain, data analytics etc. This affords associates the opportunity to work with clients across a variety of sectors including retail, aviation, defence and energy.

A lot of the work is international in nature, and there are plenty of secondment opportunities from junior level upwards.

The partners are particularly looking for bright, ambitious and entrepreneurial associates – those who can assist with driving the team forward, as well as developing their own niche and expertise, as it continues to grow and expand in the tech industry.
