This entrepreneurial FinTech, specialised in consumer payment services, is looking for a Commercial/Outsourcing lawyer to join its Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel as their 2nd in command. You will be working closely with the business advising on commercial contracts negotiations, outsourcing arrangements (including implementing the EBA guidelines on outsourcing) and ad-hoc M&A transactions, as well as providing strategic advice to the data, products and marketing teams.  

You should have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have ideally gained some in-house experience or secondment and have strong commercial, data protection and financial services experience with a particular focus on commercial contracts and outsourcing arrangements. You should have an interest in working with an e-money and payments/Open Banking business, ideally one focused on merchant acquiring, and an enthusiasm for innovation in technology.
