A fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Finance Paralegal to join one of the fastest growing legal services firms in the City on a permanent basis in London.

The Role:
Working under one of the firm’s most successful Partners as a sole paralegal, you will be gaining hands-on transactional experience at trainee level over a variety of major practice deals including asset-backed finance techniques in the private or alternative credit, public bond, loan, or commercial paper markets across banks (FIG), real estate, consumer finance, infrastructure and renewables and insurance sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing transactional support on corporate projects, managing electronic data
- Assist with due diligence: review and analyse documents and assist with minor drafting of due diligence reports and contract summaries.
- Act as the interface, between internal stakeholders, fee earners and clients.
- Prepare securities filings prior to fund closings for submission to the applicable regulatory authority.
- Generate and maintain fund status chart listing investor information.
- Data room management.
- Assisting Corporate Finance lawyers with the verification process.
- Assist in preparation of documents.
- Performing company searches.
- Legal Research.
Successful applications will show:
- Strong academics, including Law degree or equivalent qualification essential.
- A driven Paralegal with at least 6 months’ prior Corporate, Finance or transactional experience.
- Part of the process will include a corporate document test, so please be confident in your drafting or reviewing of transactional contracts.
- The ability to pick up tasks and work autonomously.
The successful Corporate Finance Paralegal will be offered a competitive salary around £35k+ per annum depending on experience, plus benefits with the opportunity to be supported to train through the SQE upon success in the role!
