In-House Paralegal – VC

A rare opportunity has arisen for an In-House Paralegal to join a new Venture Capital Fund in London which is launching in February.

The successful In-House Paralegal will be the sole legal employee in the UK, reporting to the Fund’s General Counsel in New York.

As it’s a brand new Venture Capital Fund, this In-House Paralegal role offers the opportunity to join a firm in the start up phase and work with the GC to build the legal function from the ground up.
The role:
  • Drafting legal documentation e.g. supplier agreements, software licenses, NDAs
  • Companies House filing
  • Drafting board minutes
  • Advising on US Venture Capital Funds
  • Working closely with the GC to establish a contract management system
About you:
  • The successful In-House Paralegal will have solid experience of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
Ideally you will have some knowledge of the following:
  • US Venture Capital Funds
  • UK/US company secretary matters
  • Listed company reporting
  • Administering US stock option plans
  • Carta/cap table management
