Our client is one of the largest, fully-integrated law firms in the world and a Silver Circle law firm in London. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Associate to join their funds team.

Company

The firm’s funds and asset management practice acts for a broad range of institutional and boutique asset managers in the UK and globally on a full range of transactional matters.  The fund formation practice is a particular strength and encompasses listed investment companies, private GP-LP fund structures and more complex regulated funds, such as authorised contractual schemes. Best known in the past for their listed fund formation practice, they have a strong and fast-growing private fund practice.

Role

  • Opportunity to work in a market leading practice with high-calibre fee earners in a collegiate environment.
  • Involvement in cutting-edge fund formation transactions involving establishing all types of funds (listed & unlisted) and asset management corporate work with a significant international component and an emphasis on private funds.
  • Advising major leading, domestic, and international, fund management houses, financial institutions and corporates sponsoring, managing, and investing in funds

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of qualified experience
  • Detailed knowledge of the funds industry sector
  • Advanced legal skills, including complex drafting, negotiation, and project management skills; good people management and business development skills.
  • Excellent academics
