There is currently a small legal team so the successful In-House Paralegal will gain lots of responsibility and exposure from day one.
The role:
Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful In-House Paralegal can look forward to assisting the firm’s Legal and Structuring team. Duties will include:
- Preparing board meetings and drafting board/shareholder resolutions
- Filings, interactions and correspondence with Companies House
- Fund administration support assistance
- Conducting due diligence tasks
- AML/KYC processes and onboarding
- Assisting with Fund life cycle management and special purpose vehicle entity management
- Transaction execution process support
- Reviewing, writing and negotiating NDAs
- Coordinating signings of investment documentation
About you:
- Previous In-House Paralegal experience essential, preferably in asset management or funds
- Law degree or equivalent qualification essential, LPC desirable
- Result-oriented and pro-active
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and under pressure
