The company are looking to hire a Paralegal to assist their General Counsel and work in their North Harrow offices.
The role:
The successful In House Paralegal can look forward to a broad role which will have a major focus on Property. You will also be exposed to Employment, Franchising, Construction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Group General Counsel working on numerous property transactions within the Group’s portfolio
- Assisting in the general management of the Group’s property portfolio
- Attending meetings and taking minutes
- Drafting reports
- Performing legal research on applicable regulations, laws, and legal matters
- Drafting of formal legal documentation, such as contracts and licences, as well as correspondence with other parties
- Arranging and attending meetings and site inspections
About you:
The ideal In House Paralegal will have around 6 months’ Property experience and a strong commercial outlook.
It would be really beneficial if your property experience includes familiarity with SDLT returns, lease renewals, deeds of variation, searches, obtaining documentation from HM Land Registry and post-completion matters.
Working In House means that you need to be comfortable working ‘in the grey’, instructions can be ambiguous and require a good approach to problem solving. This In House Paralegal is an excellent opportunity to progress your career under the tutelage of the company’s GC, who was a Partner at a top City law firm for a number of years.
The company are based in North Harrow and are looking for a Paralegal happy to work 5 days a week in the office.
