The role:
The successful Senior Legal & Contract Manager will be responsible for two Contracts Managers (UK/EU and US) and will report directly to the global CEO. This is a business-critical position to support the expansion of their global sales teams and will involve responsibilities such as:
- Reviewing and negotiating ToBs (either the company’s or their clients’) in conjunction with the relevant salespeople.
- Ensure that new business is written in line with existing compliance frameworks across the UK, US and mainland Europe.
- Advising customers, contractors and internal salespeople on a range of legal and compliance matters.
- Manage and build strong working relationships with third party suppliers and develop new partnerships as required, these suppliers include contracts portfolio suppliers, PEO/RPOs, recruitment legal advisors and Worker Classification partners.
- Projects work will also form a key part of this role and will likely include developing more ‘fit for purpose’ cross border European contracts, developing compliance strategies in line with changing legislations internationally, and researching and developing compliant engagement models for new territory sales.
About you:
- The successful Senior Legal & Contract Manager will have a solid background in the recruitment industry, a focus on IT recruitment would be beneficial!
- You will have a strong working knowledge of industry compliance and be up to date with current legislation e.g. IR35 regulations in the UK and worker classification in the US.
- Keen eye for detail and a true commercial outlook.
- A natural curiosity for learning about legal systems in different jurisdictions .
In return:
In return, the successful Senior Legal & Contract Manager will receive a salary of up to £80,000, depending on experience, and cracking benefits. This role will have a hybrid working pattern (4.1) and can be either based at their offices in the City or in Richmond, whatever suits you best.
